The Genesis Lighting GCC48 Total Lighting Control Board is a device designed for controlling and managing lighting systems in buildings. Its main use is to provide centralized control over various lighting zones, allowing users to customize lighting settings for different areas of a building.
Each GCC48 board can control up to 48 lighting circuits, with support for unlimited lighting technologies including fluorescent, LED, and incandescent bulbs. The board is capable of step dimming lights, switching them on and off, and creating customized lighting scenes that can be activated with a single button press.
The GCC48 is a plug-in controller card which is used in conjunction with 1-4 Relay Driver Cards. It provides the control logic and memory for operating a single Lighting Automation Panel with up to 48 relays and fourteen programmable switches. It also supports communications over its RS-232 port and the dataline. Address switches are rotary style with visual identification of the number set. Address can run from 000 to 999.
These provide the stand-alone intelligence functions for the panel. The GCC48 provides the intelligent operating scenarios, logic functions and communications. The GRDC12(s) actuate the relays ON/OFF and monitor their status. Each GRDC12 is associated with a bank of 12 relay outputs and 3 programmable system switch inputs.
– 48-relay control capability.
– Built-in programmable lighting scenarios.
– Change-of-state enunciation over both RS232 and Dataline.
– Direct relay switching. Each relay in the panel may be controlled directly with a switch or occupancy sensor.
– Program retention via battery backup during power outages
– Plug-in modular configuration.
– RS232 and Dataline communications ports.
– Runtime and status information for all relays.
– Three, six, nine or twelve programmable system (global) switch inputs (PSS).
– Two programmable panel master switch inputs (PMS).
Some of the key parameters and advantages of the GCC48 board include:
Ease of use: The GCC48 board is designed to be user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that makes it easy for building managers and maintenance staff to adjust lighting settings as needed.
Energy efficiency: By allowing users to control lighting zones individually, the GCC48 board can help reduce energy consumption by ensuring that lights are only used when and where they are needed.
Customization: The board can be programmed to create custom lighting scenes for different areas of a building, allowing users to create different moods and atmospheres with the push of a button.
Schedules: There are 24 programable schedules. Each panel has 12 Local Schedules (LAP) A ~ L that can be used only for relays within that panel and 12 System Schedules (SYS) M~X that are duplicated in all panels in the network. The system schedules shall be used when relays in multiple panels shall follow same schedule.
Centralized control: The GCC48 board provides centralized control over a building’s lighting system, making it easy to manage and maintain lighting settings throughout the facility.
Compatibility: The board is compatible with a wide range of lighting technologies, allowing it to be used with both new and existing lighting systems.
Overall, the Genesis Lighting GCC48 Total Lighting Control Board is a versatile and powerful tool for managing lighting systems in buildings. Its advanced features and customization options make it an ideal choice for large commercial and industrial facilities where energy efficiency and ease of use are top priorities.

The GREPEAT is a dataline signal booster. It permits the total length of dataline to be extended beyond the normal 1219m (4,000’) limit. Use of a dataline repeater allows lighting control panels and dataline switches in large buildings, multi-office complexes, or distantly located sites to be networked together.
Each GREPEAT will extend the maximum dataline length by 1219m (4,000’). Other than the limit of 500 devices in any combination per dataline, there is no limit to the number of dataline repeaters that can be used together. The device supports longer data lines while reducing noise and providing protection against electrical transients
System communications through a GREPEAT are automatic. Status LED indicate proper operation and assist in diagnostics.

The GPCON photo controller is a low- voltage class 2 device which provides three independent outputs that may be connected directly to relays or to an RMS. The control unit has adjustable switching ranges that allow adjustment for high and low setpoints of the deadband.
The control unit monitors daylighting of interiors, atriums, skylights and exterior lighting using one of four GLCS GPSEN-xxx photodiode sensing elements.
In normal operation, the controller has a 3 minute time delay to eliminate nuisance switching. The time delay may be bypassed for setup and testing. When the level of light increases to the adjustable high fc level and remains at or above that level for 3 minutes, a momentary closure between white and black will turn loads OFF. When the light level decreases below the adjustable Low level setpoint and remains at or below that level for 3 minutes, a momentary closure between white and red will turn loads ON
